Connecting MaxVPN on Mac with AnyConnect

On Mac, as on iPhone, the connection is manual: install the AnyConnect app from the App Store, create a connection with the server address from your user panel, and connect with your subscription username and password. The Mac app is the same app as on iPhone, so the screens and steps are the same.

Step 1: Copy the server address

1. Log in to your user panel with your subscription username and password.
2. In the "AnyConnect guide" («آموزش AnyConnect») tab, click Copy address («کپی آدرس»).

Use the address exactly as copied; don't add any spaces or characters to it.

Step 2: Install the app from the App Store

1. Install AnyConnect from the App Store.
2. Open the app.

The app installs only on a Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or newer) and macOS 11 or newer. To check the chip, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu: if Chip shows a name such as Apple M1, your Mac is suitable. If your Mac has an Intel chip, the App Store does not offer this app for it; ask "Online support" («پشتیبانی آنلاین») for help.

Step 3: Create the connection

1. Click Connections.
2. Click Add VPN Connection.
3. In Description enter a name, for example MaxVPN.
4. In Server Address paste the address you copied from the panel.
5. Turn on Connect On Demand.
6. Click Save.
7. If your Mac asks for permission to add VPN configurations, click Allow.

Step 4: Turn on VPN FIPS Mode

1. Go back to the app's home screen and click Settings.
2. Turn on VPN FIPS Mode.

Step 5: Connect

1. On the app's home screen, turn on the AnyConnect VPN switch.
2. In Username enter your subscription username and click Connect.
3. In Password enter your subscription password and click Connect.

If the details are correct, the switch turns green and Details shows Connected. The AnyConnect guide for iPhone has a picture of every screen.

If you can't connect

• Try a different internet connection.
• Copy the address from the panel again; it should have no extra spaces or characters.
• Enter your username and password again; make sure there are no spaces at the start or end.
• Seeing the message "Maximum number of logins reached" («تعداد دفعات ورود به حداکثر رسیده»)? Remove connected devices.
