How to download and install MaxVPN on Windows

Get the MaxVPN Windows app from the download page on this site, install it, and log in with your subscription username and password.

Before you start

• 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 (to check: Settings → System → About, see System type)
• At least 200 MB of free space on your system drive (usually C)

The Windows app installs and runs only on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11; it does not work on Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista or older, or on 32-bit Windows. If your Windows is older than 10, or 32-bit, use one of these options:

1. Install 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
2. Install Cisco AnyConnect or OpenConnect on this Windows PC and set it up manually; the server address and connection details are in your Client Panel.
3. Connect from your phone.

Step 1: Download

1. Open the MaxVPN download page for Windows.
2. Click Download («دانلود») and wait for the download to finish.

Step 2: Find the file

• In your browser, press Ctrl + J and click Show in folder next to the MaxVPN file;
• Or open your Downloads folder in File Explorer.

Step 3: Install

1. Double-click the setup file.
2. If Windows asks for permission, confirm. (If you see the message "Windows protected your PC", see the "If it won't install" section.)
3. If the terms of use are shown, tick the box to accept them.
4. Click Install and wait for the installation to finish.

Step 4: Log in

1. Open MaxVPN from the desktop or the Start menu.
2. Enter your subscription username and password and log in.
3. Connect.

Don't have a subscription? You can get a free trial account from inside the app.

If it won't install

The "Windows protected your PC" message

If you got the file from the official MaxVPN download page:

1. Click More info.
2. Click Run anyway.

Only continue if you downloaded the file directly from the official MaxVPN page.

Still won't install

Send a message to "Online support" («پشتیبانی آنلاین») with your Windows version and the text or a screenshot of the error.
