How to download and install MaxVPN on Android

Get the MaxVPN Android app from the download page on this site, install it, and log in with your subscription username and password. If you see a warning or error while installing, see the "If it won't install" section at the bottom of this guide.

Before you start

• Android 8 or later
• At least 400 MB of free space

Step 1: Download

1. Open the MaxVPN download page for Android.
2. Tap Download («دانلود») and wait for the download to finish.
3. If your browser says "This file may harm your device" and you got the file from this official page, tap Keep or Download anyway.

The file is about 91 MB, usually between 85 and 93 MB; phones and file manager apps may show a slightly bigger or smaller number, and that is normal. If it's much smaller (for example half of this), the download didn't finish: delete the file and download it again from the official page.

Step 2: Install

1. Open the downloaded file (from your browser's Downloads or your phone's "File manager" app).
2. If your phone says installing from this source isn't allowed: tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, go back, and open the file again.
3. Tap Install and wait for the installation to finish.

Step 3: Log in and connect

1. Open MaxVPN.
2. Log in with your subscription username and password, or get a free trial account.
3. The first time you connect, if a Connection request message appears, tap OK.

If it won't install

Play Protect warning ("Blocked by Play Protect")

If you got the file from the official MaxVPN download page:

1. Tap More details.
2. If Install anyway appears, tap it.

You don't need to turn off Play Protect permanently; just approve this one installation.

Samsung phones with Android 14 or later (Auto Blocker)

1. Open Settings → Security and privacy → Auto Blocker.
2. Turn off Auto Blocker temporarily.
3. Install MaxVPN.
4. Turn Auto Blocker back on.

The message "This app was built for an older version of Android"

1. Tap More details.
2. If Install anyway appears, tap it.

If there's no way to continue, delete the file and get the latest version again from the download page.

Still won't install

Send a message to "Online support" («پشتیبانی آنلاین») at the bottom of the page and include:

• Your phone model
• Your Android version
• The text or a screenshot of the error
